Text incipit | Writing in this field a word or expression either according to the transcription or in the colloquial form will return results that contain that word or that expression anywhere in the first line. |
Cadence | There should be a space between cadence numbers, and the main cadence number should be written between brackets. For example 1 (5) 2 1 or 1 (b3) 1 1. You don't have to enter the complete cadence, so when using the search term (b3) the search will return all melodies with the b3 main cadence, and when using b3, the search will match all melodies with a b3 cadence. |
County | In addition to the counties of the Hungarian Kingdom between 1881 and 1918 here you can choose Moldva (Moldavia) and Bukovina. |
Locality | It is either the place of the recording or the informant’s locality of origin. In most of the cases these are the same. |
Informant | The name of the same informant might appear differently on different record cards. Names were unified in the database so that each informant appears only once in the list of informants. |
